This is a really gorgeous Sterling Silver Handled Carving set. T are 5 pieces. The set contains ; A knife sharpener, the overall length is 15 and1/8 inches long. It looks unused. T is the very slightest bit of surface rust on the sharpener, I am sure a little oil will clean it up, but I want to leave the set totally original, so the whoever gets it can clean it to their liking or leave the original patina. The next piece is the larger knife. It measures about 14 and 1/4 inches long.The blade was never sharpened, it looks like it was never used. The next knife has a slightly smaller blade which measures about 13 and 1/8 inches long. It also looks like it was never used. Next is the larger serving fork which measures about 10 and 3/4 inches long. This fork looks like it was never used. The last piece is a slightly smaller seving fork. This fork looks like it was used, t is a slight discoloration on the fork part. This is areally nice set. I do not know the pattern. If somebody knows please tell me. T are no dents. It is really nice. It is not often you get a full 5 piece set. All the handles are marked STERLING SILVER on both sides of the handles. The blades and fork tines are stainless steel. The set came in an old tattered box. on the top is a label that reads; The Hoover E. Smith Co. Diamonds Jewelers and Silversmiths College Fraternity Jewelers Philadelphia. The handles are monogramed on one side. I am not sure what letter it is (see drawing in photos) Do not miss this wonderful set.
