This item is one of those estate finds that you consider keeping. It is an ornate brass Victorian era inkwell, complete with glass insert and a pen rest. The surface has a fine worn patina which makes me think it has had some good use over the years. It stand on four feet and measures 4.75 inches by 4.75 inches across the base. It is about 3 inches high. This piece is unsigned so I don't know who made it or exactly how old it is.
