Description These fabulous silver serving tongs were made by Cailar Bayard, Paris, in the early 1900s. The 5 1/4 inch long tongs have no monogram. They could be used as pickle caster tongs. They are marked Cailar Bayard along with their hallmark/symbol (C & B with a sun). The company was taken over by Christofle. The tongs were lightly used and have not been polished. They are in very good condition (the mark in the cartouche is the reflection of the light, not a flaw). Check out the other Queensquared auctions! Combined shipping is always an option.
