Ornate Estate Silver Warming Station / Buffet Server with Burner DESIGN Lid features molded single handle adorned with scrollwork and floral motifs - wide lobed corners and scalloped rims on dish, lid and hot water basin - wide band of decorative scrollwork around outer top rim of dish - this design is carried through on the double handles - dish also sits on four ball feet for placement on a surface - hot water basin has hinged double handles with fancy shell and scrollwork motif, and baluster-style legs - lower platform has similar shell and scrollwork design around outer rim, plus four scrolled feet and hole in center for burner HALLMARKS Crown over coat of arms - flanked by letters "C" and "S" (not familiar with this hallmark) MONOGRAMS None MEASUREMENTS Length (handle to handle) - 16", width - 10 ½", height (surface to top of lid handle) - 11 ½" CONDITION Excellent estate condition - normal surface patina commensurate with age and light use - no other imperfections, signs of removal, restoration or repair (See photos for details) PROVENANCE Private collection - Historic Hyde Park, Upstate New York Lovely for entertaining - beautiful on display !
