Ornate German Pewter Pitcher / Jug Frieling-Zinn 95% This auction is for an beautifully ornate German Pewter Pitcher or Jug, by Frieling-Zinn. It measures approx. 6 7/8" tall at the highest point. The opening is 2 1/2" and the bottom is 3 7/16". Approx. weight is 1 lb. 10 oz.. It is marked on the bottom, "Frieling-Zinn 95% Germany" and has a crowned rosebud. The pitcher has 3 panels which are seperated by a decorative border and flowers. The 1st. scene is a forest setting with 3 deer running. The next panel has a man holding a gun and tipping his hat. The last panel is also a forest setting with a stag and doe running. The handle is also decorative. The pitcher is in great condition and the detail is beautiful. We will gladly combine shipping (when possible) and will also use "Flat Rate" to further reduce costs when appropriate, upon request.
