This is an Orongo Tiki Mug by Munktiki it's the fourth in the "Very Rare" Boat series. It is number ten of twelve made it comes with it's COA and original bag. Orongo is the ceremonial village of Easter Island w hundreds of Birdman petroglyphs can be found and the Weeping Eyes design was also found on the walls in many of the huts in Orongo. The Birdman Cult was said to of sprung up after the decline of the Moai. Easter Island was lacking resources due to the deforestation for the moving of the Moai statues. The story is; Birdman and Weeping Eyes found a boat washed up on shore one morning as they walked along the beach. With no oars, sails or any means of navigation they jumped into the small craft and headed out to sea searching for a better life. I don't know if you'll ever see another one of these for sale!!!
