Early painting in Orr Cleveland Fisher career. Original Oil on Burlap C. 1940. Approximately 8.5 x 6.5 size There is a sale sticker on the back but it is too light for me to read. The buyer taped a newspaper clipping regarding a "One Man" showing of Fisher's art in St. Joseph. Beautiful old painting on stretched burlap. It seems that the painting was done in the frame after the burlap was stretched to create a canvas for the artist. Buyer made want to reframe but the hand created and painted frame which seems to have been made by Fisher is very unqiue. The picture itself will need to be professionally cleaned to give it a fresh look. WPA Artist | Orr C.
