ORSONIC COLLET CHUCK STYLE DISC STABILIZER DS-200G NOS New Old Stock in the original package. Up for auction is very rare audio accessory made by ORSONIC. This is not a typical heavy weight disc cramp or disc stabilizer. It is only 200gram or little less than 7 oz in weight so that it won’t add extra load to the turntable motor and the bearing. It is light weight but its unique collet chuck mechanism pulls the center spindle shaft and press down the record firmly. The material of this disc stabilizer is made of zinc alloy which has minimum resonance and it won’t affect sonic quality of the record. The diameter is only 60mm (2 1/2”), which is suitable to use SP(78's) record too. How to use: Just press the center push button and place stabilizer over the center spindle then release the button.
