This is your chance to own not only one but two Oscar collectible items for your office or home theater room. I have a brand new 2014 official Oscars Program hosted by Ellen de Generes. An original item created for the Oscar this year by the Film Academy of Motion Pictures for the attendees and presentors. ( poster in the photos is for decor purposes only and is not included in the eBay auction).The second collectible item is a 12.5-inch, 5 lb. 24 kt gold plated metal alloy Oscar statue reproduction. This particular Oscar is crafted by a72 year old master sculptor and artist named " Guissepe" in San Francisco and unfortunately he passed away last week. This is the last statue that came out from his mould. This statue is crafted with more detail than what you have seen in other Oscar statues in eBay. Oscar stands on a round metal base with five small engraved circles. This represents a film reel with five spokes, signifying the 5 original branches of the Academy: actors, directors, producers, technicians and writers. Although the statuette remains true to its original design, the size of the base varied until 1945, when the current standard was adopted.
