This is an antique concert program for a joint recital by Ossp Gabrilowitsch, the Distinguished Russian Pianist, and Clara Clemens- Gabrilowitsch, the Brilliant Contralto. This program is a single sheet flyer format printed on one side only measuring about 5.5" x 8" with photographic portraits of both Ossip and Clara. This concert was held on April 3 rd and the Auditorium in Omaha , Nebraska . The year is not given on the program but this came with a collection of similar items dating between 1905 and 1921. I've seen the same photo of Gabrilowitsch used on another program which was dated 1916 so I presume this is probably also circa 1916 or so. The Clara Clemons shown was actually Mark Twain's daughter who married Gabrilowitsch in 1909. Gabrilowitsch had many musical accomplishments and was probably most well known as conductor of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The program also indicates he was managed by Loudon Charlton and that the piano used was Mason & Hamlin. Overall condition is very good plus for this original program.
