Up for auction is a used Otari MX5050 reel to reel. The ID tag on the back says 17905026 F and also 2SHTD2. I acquired this from a university surplus sale where it was retired from service from a professional university studio. I have never used this equipment and have no idea how this type of equipment is used.When plugged in the Forward,Reverse, Play, and Record buttons worked. The case is a bland neutral gray and does have a bit of wear on the top left edge as shown. I have no idea what condition the heads are in. Because I DO NOT have a working knowledge of this type of equipment, it is being SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. I will do my best to answer any questions. $10 added for package and handling as a heavy walled oversize box and 2" sheet foam will be used to carefully package the reel to reel. Of course local pick up is available at no charge.Item must be paid for within 72 hours of auction end.
