OTT - FREDERICK POST PLANIMETER # 18770 MADE IN GERMANY I'm not familar with planimeters, but this one appears to be in very good condition. T doesn't appear to be any wear or rust on the metal parts. The case does have a few scuffs on the top, but mostly on the bottom. I would say it's normal wear (See Pics above). Also, the cloth inside is good with no tears or wear. The color of the cloth appears red or burgundy in the pics, but is actually more of a purple color. A very nice precision instrument.
