COMMAND OF İMAM CAFER It is one of the most significant reference books for Anatolian Alevism known as "Command" ("Buyruk") and it is attributed to Imam Cafer-i Sadık. This book is in other words a catechism for the Alevis. Almost all the fundamental principles of beliefs and rituals of Alevism can be found in this book. At the beginning of this manuscript the name of the book is given as "Dürr-i Meknun ve İlm-i Hızır Nebi". It is 140 pages totally and each page is numbered one by one. Generally t are 14 lines on each page. The tabulation (framings) of the manuscript is made by a pencil probably on the very following dates. Its cloth binding is again made later with a cloth called "6 finger" and its spine is leather. Inside covers are made of marbled papers. Although the name of the book is given as "Dürr-i Meknûn ve İlm-i Hızır Nebi", it gives information about "dürr-i meknûn" up to eight pages. T are underlined lines on the ninth page that can be considered as the "chapter" or the headline of the "book"; "İmam Cafer-i Sadık Razıyallahü Anh Buyurduğu Şerifi Söyleyelim Talibe Biraz Talkın Eyleyelim." . And it continues with the statement "Şeyh Safi commands that; t are three kinds of postulants. One is the postulant dying; the other one is the postulant supplying property...."
