You are bidding on one, 2 ounce Lunar Horse coin, sealed in an air tight capsule. From the Australian Mint, the coin is .999 pure silver (NOT just plated!). A great investment, as the price of silver is sure to increase! Also a brilliant collectors coin, of all the silver coins i've seen over the years, this really is the most stunning example. My pictures dont do it justice, I have included a couple from the web, to try and show just how beautiful it is. The 2014 Year of the Horse 2oz Silver Coin represents the very best in minting excellence and design. The release celebrates the Chinese Lunar Year of the Horse, the seventh animal in the 12-year zodiac cycle. T he obverse of the coin portrays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2014 year-date, the monetary denomination, and the coin’s weight and fineness. The coin’s reverse depicts two horses standing within a stylised Chinese landscape. The Chinese character for ‘horse’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Horse’ also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark. As well as appealing to silver coin collectors, this outstanding release also makes a great gift for people born in any year ruled by the Chinese lunar horse.
