Red Book 424 Light Blue Quart (beaver chewing log)BEAVER You will see many clear Beaver Jars for each one you see in Blue or Aqua. I once owned a quart example in what is called "Ball Blue" in the Red Book. It was the same hue as this, but a little more intense. The pics have captured the color pretty well, and I will leave the labeling up to you. It is a beautiful color. The zinc band fits well, and the correct clear lid is free of damage. The ground lip is excellent, with only one chip, done in the grinding. The embossing is unusually strong for a Beaver jar, with all the fur on the animal clearly showing. All in all a very clean and sparkling example, and rarely offered for sale in color. Check out my other items ! If you purchase more than one item in a week, please let me know.
