Outstanding Essex Regiment Cap Badge from a Stunning WW1 Collection. A badge from a stunning set of WW1 cap badges collected early in WW1, and back to Victorian. The whole collection can be viewed here: /user/paul_hermitage/library/?sort=2&page=1 The badges were new when put onto the 3 boards, two of the holding papers under the sliders of the badges were dated 1915. The backs of the majority of the badges are clean as they were put onto the boards - no oxidisation at all. The collection is extensively discussed on the British and Commonwealth badge forum, and the feedback is extremely positive on the quality.
