You are admiring a spectacular specimen, a rare Festilyria festiva festiva (Palazzi, 1981) measuring an enormous 204mm (I don't think I have ever seen one this large anyw on the net) and graded F++...out of this world color pattern and superb markings are displayed on this deep H2O specimen...love the almost totally red spire, too. This treasure was trawled at 80-120m offshore Somalia. This rarely seen species will be a joy to display in any collection....but, to the Volute collector, it's going to be a joy to admire forever.
