WELCOME TO MY FRUIT, NUT & BERRY AUCTION! Today I will be listing gorgeous handpainted porcelain that are covered with fruits, nuts or berries. They are all beautifully painted on exquisite & fine porcelain from Limoges, Austria or Bavaria. Please see all much auctions for gorgeous handpainted fruit, nut or berry porcelain. This is a striking and very eye catching plate that looks professionally painted, but has no signature. The artist has painted rich, juicy and totally ripe deep purple Plums hanging heavily off their slendar branches. This painting is expertly done and has almost an Oriental feel to it with the perfect leaves and thin branches supporting the fat, ripe fruit. The mold is also very lovely with raised embossed designs around the rim and raised beading along with that. The scalloped edge is trimmed in thick, excellent gold. As I said, this has the look and feel of a professionally painted piece. The Plate measures 8" in diameter It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The colors are very rich and strong and the gold is excellent. It is marked with France overglaze, which would suggest a studio.
