We are pleased to be offering today one of the nicest tiger sawn oak French Louis XV carved dining room sets that we have had the pleasure of offering in a long time. You have to see it in person to appreciate how unbelievable it truly is.The set is so much better quality than normal. It has excessive carving throughout the entire set right down to w the chairs have carving on the legs, across the skirts, across the back and even on the knuckle arms of the arms chairs which you never see on a set of these French chairs. The table has the teeniest bottom molding along the bottom of the skirt that is scrolled and then a nice oval panel with a floral design carved in, carved feet and the top is to die for. It is all mosaic style and as you walk around the table, the pattern on the table top changes. The sideboard is unbelievable. It is extra large, four beautiful tiger sawn raised panel carved doors in the front, the right hand side offers five dove tail drawers with the top drawer being divided and felt lined. The backsplash is beautiful and could be sold by itself for decoration. The next item is a triple door china cabinet. Usually they have a small china closet, but never a china closet like this. I have looked it all over and it is the same color and was purchased at the same time, but you can tell it is not 100% matching to the rest. You would have to be real critical to notice. It has beautiful raised panels across the bottom of the three doors and it has a green tinted glass so it makes the inside of the closet look green, a beautiful carved skirt on the base, carved panels, gold hardware, multi-molded bonnet top and comes with the original hardware and key. T is also a key for the sideboard. It is a complete nine piece set. It is untouched and has a few little nicks. It is in a medium amber oak color that draws out the grain of the tiger sawn oak. The sideboard is very heavy and the china closet is extra large. We are very excited to find this set to offer to you today. The overall size of the china closet that has three raised panel super carved doors with oak grillwork on top and three adjustable shelves, carved cabriole legs, bonnet molded top and beautiful double raised panel sides is 63 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 72 inches high. It is a beautiful and stunning cabinet. The next item is the sideboard which is heavy and will take two real big men to lift. The overall size is 95 inches long, 8.5 inches high on the backsplash, 23 inches deep and 39 inches high to the base cabinet. It is simply stunning and has two shelves behind each door and the last door on the right has the dove tail drawers with the two top drawers being divided for silverware. Next is the very hard to find chairs. We have never owned a set of French chairs with twin matching arm chairs before. They are all solid oak with carvings across the top, front he arms, skirt, legs and even the feet. They have an antique green diamond point suede fabric that is in very nice condition. The arm chairs are 23 inches across, 23 inches deep, 41.5 inches high to the back and 20 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 39 inches high to the back and 19 inches high to the seat. They are a stunning set of six chairs and keep in mind that we have never seen a match pair of arm chairs with a dining room set before. Last but not least is one of the nicest oak mosaic parquet breadboard end carved tables that we have ever had. Usually the drawer leaves are just a plain old piece of veneer, but this particular drawer leaf has a breadboard end all the way around. The legs are all heavily carved right down to the scroll feet; the skirt has a beautiful carved floral oval with dainty carvings and a round corner top. The size of the table when cl...
