From an outstanding private collection ~ This auction is for a STUNNING RARELY SEEN MATCHING PAIR OF NIPPON HANDLED Portrait VASES with outstanding colors of CLARET RED AND BRIGHT GOLD! Portraits are beautifully handpainted.Also handpainted, the delicate gold is liberally decorated with raised beading. The reverse is embellished with a medallion of delicate handpainted roses. Tiny gold beading forms the raised texture at the borders. The photos speak for themselves! This stunning pair of vases measure10 1/2" ihigh by by 5 1/2" wide at widest point of the body. Marked as shown Condition excellent with NO chip, cracks, nor repairs. T is minimal wear to some of the gold at handles and top rim. Buyer to pay $16.95 shipping plus insurance within USA .
