You're bidding on a nicely restored flat top steamer trunk dating to the mid 1890's This Victorian trunk has been cleaned, sanded and sealed with a clear stain and a satin polyurethene used to protect the surfaces. As the photos show, all of the hardware has been refinished! The trunk is eastern pine construction with hardwood slats all around. This is a well traveled trunk with age appropriate wear....it's overall appeal is rustic and it will look nice in almost any decor! The inside has also been refinished...it is odor free, looks super and has a ton of storage! The lock is original on this. However the key has been lost in its travels. Both hasps work fine, the lid stay is solid and this old timer still has one of its original leather handles. This would be a great coffee table or perhaps a blanket trunk. Outside dimensions are 36" wide, 23" tall and 22" deep. Weight is about 55 pounds and shipping will be set at $35.00 everyw except the west coast areas of the country...if you are the winning bidder and reside on the west coast, please add an additional $7.00 to the above quoted shipping.
