Welcome to Lincs-Thimbles I sell mainly thimbles, singles starting from just 99p. I will combine postage for multiple purchases. Please add me to your Favourite Sellers list. This is just about the best Royal Commemorative thimble I have ever come across!! It shows the Coronation coach travelling from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. On the front is the monogram GM for George V and Mary with the year 1911 underneath with a thistle and shamrock either side. It was made by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company and has their stamp but not a full hallmark. I am therefore selling this as silver plated although my belief is that it is solid silver. The crown on the front appears to be gold. In excellent condition with no dents, holes or splits . I leave feedback for buyers when I post the item, so all feedback left for me is genuine!
