This is a unique and GREAT 100% original, WWII period done, camouflage painted (brushed) helmet, that appears to have originally been used by the Africa Kops in the beginning, as evidenced by its Tropical tan desert camo paint on underside of helmet. I purchased this from Giorgio Spadaro, well known helmet collector and dealer (ITALIANWARFRONT) where it was in his personal collection. The turtle pattern is in wonderful condition, showing just light wear, except for the area on the dome, which exhibits some more moderate damage to camo finish. Giorgio called this the "Valentine helmet", as one of the camo patterns is heart shaped.I Hate to let this one go, but need to fund another item that was unexpectedly offered to me.I have many photos, so if you need more, just ask.
