For auction at NO RESERVE is this rare 5.7" vintage/antique OVERSIZE Lifetime Balance fountain pen and pencil set from SHEAFFER'S . Standard 1000 diameter, oversize length. Pen and pencil are in excellent working condition! Nice, smooth and glossy, faux tortoise shell Black & Pearl marble case shows little signs of use. Nice gold filled Sheaffer's pocket clip, cap ring and fill lever. All smooth with only microscopic use marks! No cracks or bite marks around barrel bottom. Very minor barrel discoloration. Barrel is impressed W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO - FORT MADISON, IOWA, USA - PAT'D-PAT. PENDING . HUGE solid 14K gold nib marked: SHEAFFER'S - LIFETIME - REG. US. PAT. OFF. - MADE IN USA - 2783795 . Nib has good flexibility with excellent tipping material, tines properly aligned. Pen measures 144mm (5.75") in length closed. Recently replaced ink bladder has been flushed and tested for leaks. Feed system has been cleaned and serviced. Pen will arrive ready for your favorite ink! Pencil measures 144mm (5.75") in length. Excellent physical and working condition!
