Here is a wonderful example of 19th century antique Chinese export porcelain. This charming oversized mug/tankard is beautifully decorated with many figures in two garden scenes. The lovely multi-colored glazes are indicative of the famille rose pattern. The handle is composed of delicate twists of porcelain. It is in very good overall condition with no cracks, just a very small chip inside the rim and two very small spots of missing surface glaze (see last two photos). Much of the original guilding is still visible. It measures 6 1/8" tall with a diameter of 5 1/8"-an unusually large size. A beautiful piece of antique Chinese porcelain for the serious collector.Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. Thank you.
