4 Each .25 OZ SILVER $5 American Liberty Dollars Norfed 2006 These $5 Silver Liberty - as beautiful as the ideals it represents - is the Standard ofthe Liberty Economy. It contains one half a Troy ounce of .999 fine silver with a face value of FIVE DOLLARS. (Norfed does not like to call them proofs because they are made for circulation, but their looks and method of manufacture fit the definition). Obverse Features the "Liberty Head" design Reverse Features the Liberty Torch. As some may know, these pieces have become rare after the Gold, Silver, and Platinum, plus almost two Tons of Ron Paul Liberty Dollars were seized at Liberty Dollar offices in Evansville Indiana and the Sunshine Mint during a raid by the Secret Service and FBI on November 14th 2007. The FBI also seized all of their dies, money, computers and records. Now, because of the media coverage on the issue, many people are finding out about Liberty / Norfed Dollars for the first time and are enraged at the events that have taken place. Many are fighting to get their hands on some Liberty / Norfed Dollars for themselves, to help the word spread.
