HALF POUND WALKING LIBERTY DOLLAR! ONE HALF POUND OF PURE SILVER! This round made by Washington Mint as a proof using the Amercan 16 troy ounce pound. It is acually 8 troy ounces. The artwork is incredible! It's an extreemly good quality replica measuring 3 1/2 inches across and 3/16 inch thick. On the front of the coin is the high relief depiction of the Walking Liberty with a sunrise and the words "LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 1995" proudly stamped. On the back is the American Eagle and the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE HALF POUND FINE SILVER .999". On the edge is stamped "2359". The airtight has scratches but the coin is protected. You will love this giant coin! I don't have any stories for this one. Is it possible that I've run out of stories? Let me think.... elves.... gnomes... aliens... Bigfoot...... I got nothin'. It is silver and I know YOU NEED SILVER! This is definately one of the best colorized rounds I have seen! This bar is RED, WHITE, and BLUE, American through and through. YOU NEED SILVER AND THIS IS A GREAT ROUND! MAYBE THIS ROUND NEEDS TO BE IN YOUR COLLECTION?
