U.P. Big Boy Die Cast Kit Expert modeling skills required! Deep in the box of consignment stuff I found this hunk of die cast iron that could turn out to be the best piece in the whole consignment! I have no idea who manufactured it; how old it is; or exactly what's t and what's not. I do know the drive lines are t and workable. T are several bags of small parts and a list of parts on a index card in the box, but I haven't opened anything other than the box. T are no directions that I can see. T is also no tender with it. This is not for the beginner unless you have some advice on the side. WYSIWYG This locomotive is HEAVY and so are all the parts which will reflect itself in the shipping. First of all I offer this to U.S. buyers ONLY. Second, to cover the weight of the kit the postage will be a flat $11.00 for U.S.P.O. Priority Mail. I know that is a bunch but this thing will weigh almost 2 pounds before adding the shipping materials to protect it. I'm going to leave it on for a while so you can think it over. I think it is worth more than a buck or two. Since you'd be starting from a box of parts it should be easy to DCC this locomotive as you build read more
