THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE (1) ANTIQUE CELLULOID PINBACK BADGE

THE FRONT STATES; ST. PAUL B.P.O.E. 59 JULY 7 1897

THE DIAMETER OF THE PIN IS 1 3/4 OF AN INCH ACROSS THE WHITEHEAD AND HOAG CO. BADGES NEWARK NJ PAT. JUNE 12, 1894 IS PRESSED ON THE METAL ON THE BACK I RECEIVED THIS PIN FROM A FRIEND TO SELL FOR HIM. IT WAS PART OF A SMALL COLLECTION THAT HIS FATHER HAD IN HIS POSSESION WHEN HE PASTED AWAY. IT IS NOT A REPRODUCTION AND ALL OF THE PINS IN THIS COLLECTION ARE ORIGINAL PIECES.

CONDITION: THE FACE OF THE PIN HAS VERY SMALL SCUFF AND SCRATCH MARKS. THERE ARE NO CRACKS OR STAINS OF THE CELLULOID. THERE IS WEAR ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GOLD FINISH ON THE METAL RING. THE IMAGE IS CLEAR, CLEAN AND VISABLE. THE BACK OF THE RING IS METAL AND VERY CLEAN, WITH ONLY ONE VERY THIN LINE OF RUST ABOVE THE SOLDER MARK THAT HOLDS THE PIN. THE PIN IS PRESENT AND IS SECURE.

I HAVE NOT TRIED TO CLEAN OR RESTORE THIS ITEM AND HAVE LEFT IT AS I RECEIVED IT.

I AM GOING TO BE LISTING MOST OF THIS COLLECTION IN THE NEXT WEEK. I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING. THE BIDDER MUST NOTIFY ME IF THEY ARE BIDDING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS AND WOULD LIKE COMBINED SHIPPING. IF THERE ARE MORE THAN FOUR ITEMS I WILL SHIP THE WINNINGS IN A USPS PRIORITY SMALL FLAT RATE BOX.
