This Barrel knife was made between 1900-1920. It was made by P.Holmberg Eskilstuna and was manufactured in Sweden. His name is clearly enbossed on the blade as well as the brass guard. The measurements are as follows, Barrel 4 and 3/4 in. Tha blade is 4 in. The overall length is 8 and 3/4 in. The barrel I believe is made of curly birch wood and the inside of the barrel looks very good or better. This is a pin lock type knife and the spring on the brass guard was repaired slightly by having it brazed. I am sure that somebody can restore that to a perfection. It still works and when the blade is in it is pretty dam tight. The barrel is very nice or better and does not have any scuff marks. The blade has never been on a grinder and looks great, it just has the very small factory pitts in it and it is pretty sharp. This knife has great eye appeal and would make a great addition to any collector. I only accept Pay Pal and all sales are final. I ship to the lower 48 states. Insurance is optoinal , so let me know if you want it. I have seen knives like these sell for hundreds of dollars , it all depends on wants and needs.
