HAND-PAINTED MONKEY TOBACCO JAR/HUMIDOR IN MAJOLICA STYLE Description : You are bidding on a gorgeous, hand-painted, Monkey Tobacco Jar/Humidor in majolica style. This mighty looking figural monkey is rendered in great detail – you can clearly see the expression of his eyes and get the feeling of the overall serious look on his face. He is holding his tobacco pipe, while he is immersed in deep thought! You will love his cute hair style! He is wearing a pink jacket, which creates a nice contrast with his body rendered in antique white with patches of brown. The monkey’s body is contoured, shaded and textured to highlight his hair. You will be impressed with a spectacular palette of deep colors of this jar – pink, brown, antique white with hues of tan (please note that the first picture most accurately reflects the colors of this item). This stunning piece is new, in excellent condition - no cracks, chips or repairs.
