I am not sure if this stock is for the P14 Enfield, P17 Enfield or both. T is a faint "E" at the tip of the stock indicating "Eddystone". This stock is in very good to excellent USED condition. T are marks w a barrelled action with the bands have sat before. T is a rather large "3" stamped in the inside of the stock near the non firing hand finger groove area and what appears to be a large "7" stamped inside the stock around the area of the rear barrel band. I can find no cartouches or "P" stamped in this stock. This stock comes with the "front wood", not matching in color, but very nice and possibly unissued. The buttplate shows some dings, scratches and spots of light surface rust. The rear sling swivel is pretty nice and has a upper case "E" stamped along the bale. Just a bit of light separation at the toe of the buttplate from the wood. This stock has some light handling marks and very small dings, but no cracking and IT IS NOT ALL DRIED OUT. This stock is also very straight and not warped. Again, this is a very nice and ORIGINAL P14 or P17 Enfield Stock by Eddystone.
