Cote d'Azur Picasso poster 1962 Offered is an original vintage lithographic poster byPablo Picasso (1881- 1973). This is Picasso’s most popular poster!! It has been glued on hardboard and weighs 10 kg or 22.5, due to the weight of the hardboard It is custom framed, ready for hanging. Artwork size without frame : 99 x 66.5 cm, 39 x 25.8 in. Artwork size with frame : 102 x 66 cm. 40.2 x 26 in. Technique: Original Color Stone Lithograph on thin paper. Signed : in the plate bottom right (in the plate). Edition and year : limited to 15,000 ;1962 Lithographer: Henri Deschamps. Printer: Imprimerie Mourlot, Paris. Publisher: Ministere des Travaux Publics et des Transport. Picasso actually created 9 canvases with the same theme “Les pigeons” between Sept. 6 and Sept. 14, 1957 from the window of his studio at La Californie Villa in Cannes.
