Awesome Depression Paden City # 700 Simplicity Center Handled Server in Cheriglo with U.S. Glass's (Tiffin's) Deerwood etching . This is a really beautiful and elegant piece of glass and will look beautiful as a serving dish for the center of your table. It is in excellent condition!! The etched scenes of Deer and Buck Grazing under the trees all around the Perimeter of the plate along with the cleanly designed center handle make this plate an awesome centerpiece. There is a lot of detail in the etching that changes. One of the things we noticed was that there are 4 bucks on the plate and 2 of them have their heads turned looking backward and the other two do not. They are exactly opposite of each other. The Tiffin etching is called Deerwood, which is this plate. The Tiffin etching has 2 bucks with their heads turned and 2 that are not. Pretty interesting. This is truly a real beauty of the elegant glass era and an example of the work and detail that went into etchings. This dish is in mint condition. It has no chips, flea bites, scratches or cracks. The Plate measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter and the height of the plate to the top of the Handle is 5 inches.
