Welcome to my auction! I recently bought part of a large Depression Glass collection. The Collector was a member of the 20-30-40 club and had many unique items. I've been collecting Depression Glass for years and hadn't ever seen many of these pieces. Please check my other listings for items you might like! This auction is for a Dark Aqua Blue Depression/Elegant Glass Guest Set. It has a wheel cut design, although I don't know the name of it. You can reference this pattern in the Encyclopedia of Paden City Glass ID & Value Guide on pages 372-374. First, let me say that much of this glass is so new to me. I've studied glass for years and never seen some of the patterns this collector had. T's a long article on page 372 of the above Book that compares Paden City guest sets with Cambridge, and how hard they are to tell apart. Using the guidelines they provide, I believe this is Paden City, but if I'm wrong, please feel free to let me know. This is a stunning 4 Piece Guest Set, a little bigger than the other one I have listed. The Pitcher & lid are almost 6 1/2" tall. The Tumbler is almost 3 1/2" tall and the tray is 10" wide. The tray has the pattern all around the top on the sides. This is absolutely gorgeous with no damage.
