Paden City MAYA Ruby Red Fluted BOWL I am pleased to offer this beautiful fluted Bowl in the Maya pattern from Paden City Glass Company in their gorgeous Ruby color. This pattern is Paden City's #221 and was produced from the late 1930s - 1951. It's an interesting shape with softly fluted edges that pinch in on each side. I've seen this shape on the compote, but never a bowl. It measures 7 1/8" at its widest and 5 1/4" at the pinched in sides and is 2 3/4" high. It's in excellent condition with no chips or cracks but does have one scratch running across one of the thistle balls (see close up picture). Perfect for the upcoming holidays! I have more great items up for bid. Check my other auctions. When possible, I will be happy to combine your winning bids to save on shipping. As a collector, I have experienced the heartbreak of receiving priceless antique glassware and collectibles destroyed because of poor packaging. As a seller, I have years of experience packaging items the way I would want to receive them. You can be assured that your newly purchased treasure will be packaged with great care using lots of bubble wrap and peanuts to insure a safe and secure arrival.
