International bidders please see below for important shipping information. About the item: This awesome piece of original artwork features the work of Rob Jones (pencils) and Dick Giordano (inks). It is from Heroic Publishings League of Champions comic series and features Icicle and Foxbat (a character that looks suspiciously like Batman). This is one page from an 8-page story and I currently have the other 7 pages listed on eBay. The page measures appx 11 by 17 inches, is in excellent condition and will be shipped with the utmost care. Please note- this is an actual, original piece of art drawn and inked by hand by the artist and inker. It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original! About Dick Giordano: Alley Award winner, twice awarded the Shazam award, and mentor/insperation to a generation of comics creators, Dick Giordano was an artist, inker, editor and ultimately became the Vice President/Executive Editor at DC Comics. He is perhaps best known for his work on Batman but his contribution to comics in general cannot be overstated. He began his career at Charlton Comics in 1952, worked his way up to editor, and brought in new talent (such as Jim Aparo and Denny O'Neil who he would later bring to DC). In 1968, at the suggestion of Steve Ditko, Irwin Donefeld and Carmine Infantino hired Dick. One read more
