Trail of Painted Ponies Fireman Pony #1453 RETIRED -- 3rd Edition / 4329. New in original box (box has seen better days) with bag, story tag & styrofoam. This pony has never been displayed. He is in excellent condition EXCEPT HIS RIGHT HAT STRAP IS BROKEN OFF (possibly happened on the way to a fire???) AND NEEDS TO BE GLUED BACK ON. ABOUT THE ARTISTS - Dwayne & Ginger Ulibarri Horses were an important part of the early Fire Services, hauling water wagons to the scene of burning buildings and houses. Cleverly, and with humor and affection, Dwayne and Ginger Ulibarri have captured that sense of the horse as a fireman's best friend. As well as being artists in their own right, the Ulibarris operate the Albuquerque foundry w the Painted Pony forms are cast.
