Absolutely Stunning "Beaded" Pony

Gorgeous resin pony measuring approximately 7" in height. One of only 250 signed worldwide as the Trail released the Summer 2007 collection. Includes COA signed by Artist. Numbered 79/250 and with a casting number of 1E/3835, this gorgeous pony is complete with box, styrofoam, hang tag and offered in mint condition

As well as for their famous rugs, Navajo weavers are known for their beautiful, pictorial, basket weavings. Many illustrate themes and tell stories that preserve Navajo history. Barbara Duzan, An Arizona artist who has distinguished herself internationally with her one-of-a-kind, beaded animals, wanted to pay special tribute to this unique tribal tradition by beading a pony that carried "Man Placing the Stars", a Navajo creation myth, on one side of the pony, and "Sun's Journey through the Sky" on the other. Each design is rendered in the Navajo basket weaver's style.
