American, late 19th century. A painted slate game board, having a central, incised checkerboard with alternating black and marbleized squares surrounded by a green inner border and a wide black outer border, the outer border embellished with stylized sunbursts at the corners separated by pyramids, PLUS a folk art walnut game board with mother-of-pearl inlay, dated 1893; larger 22.25 x 22.25 in.Condition:Both game boards with some surface wear as would be expected from age and use.
