You are bidding upon a very fine pair of Country French Louis 16th Bergere Chairs. These chairs date to the late 18th c possibly very early 19th c and are offered with no reserve. They were purchased from the estate of a Danish gentlemen and were originally bought in France. The chairs show t age although they are sturdy. One leg has an old repair but it may need some new fortification. These chairs are stunning down to the last detail. The floral carvings are superb as is the construction, all pegged of course. These chairs have a cabriole leg and look even better in the flesh. You cant see the richness of the aged wood in the photos. Offered with no reserve in as is found condition, good luck!! We can ship these chairs coast to coast for about 100 dollars through Greyhound.
