A lovely rare pair of Art Deco chairs that are both rockers (& brake). 1930s.Deep red/wine upholstery, no rips or tears and very hard wearing woven fabric. Original fabric not re-covered. The timber is solid and has a distressed look. It would be a shame to sand down the timber and re-stain but you could do this easily if preferred. The right arm on one chair is slightly cracked but no structural damage (see pic 3).The chairs can be left to rock freely or you can use the lever on the right hand side to lock the chair in whatever position is most comfortable for lounging, viewing tv or gaming.Release and its back to a rocker. You will not find these out on the hight street and currently i cant see any others here on eBay. Originally from my late great grandmother and passed down through the family. Sadly, I do not have room for them.Size wise, they are :Width 28.5"Height 33"Length 39" (depending on position where brake is locked)Low start and very reasonable reserve. Collection only from Warfield, Berks.Posted with eBay Mobile
