This auction is for a pair of California license plates, on the '56 base. I'll check on Monday to see if they are DMV clear. If so, they can be registered to any car of model year 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, or 1962. This particular configuration would be best suited for a '56 or '57 car. The rear plate is in excellent condition with light wear around the boltholes from a frame, a few light scratches, and overall very light wear. This plate is lightly oxidized. It could be polished up to a very nice shine, or left as-is. The front plate is in fair condition with a lot of bending, wear, and scrapes. It's definitely legible enough to use, or you can restore it, or simply use it to register the pair and leave it off. These are genuine vintage California license plates and would look incredible at the car shows on your classic restoration. Priority shipping in the US is based on your zip code.
