Prairie Wind Antiques is pleased to be back, offering more great "fresh to the market" estate finds this week.

This week, we'll be offering several Wyoming and other license plates (mini & full size) including a rare 1916 porcelain Wyoming plate, that we purchased recently from Wyoming estates. Be sure to check our other auctions to see them all. Shipping will of course be combined for multiple item purchases.

In this auction, you are bidding on an unused pair of 1964 Wyoming Pioneer license plates . These are low number plates still in their original mailing envelope postmarked January 9, 1964 with the tissue between them. They have been in the envelope so long that the tissue has been pressed into the shape of the plate!

Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.1.64.0 I received an email from a collector telling me that this is a 1953 plate set rather than a 1964. Not being an expert, I relied on the mailer postmark to date the set, which was January 9, 1964. So, you may have a set of 1953's in a 1964 mailer. I'm sure you collectors will know the year of these plates, but wanted to pass the information along.
