Antique Branford Cast Bronze Door Knobs with Bronze Plates Circa: 1880's Manufacturer: Branford Lock Works, Branford, Connecticut Plate Dimensions: 5.5" length x 1.5" wide Lot:#2 A wonderful pair of American cast bronze door knobs and plates with ornate floral motifs made by Branford Lock Works. Branford Lock Works was founded in 1852 and produced some of the finest hardware at the height of the Victorian period. The knobs and plates are all original, unrestored with a nice old patina. A fine casting in excellent condition with traces in the background of the original black enamel. Your purchase will include the antique spindle with 2 brass set screws. This beautiful set would accentuate any eclectic Victorian or modern interior. These items are unconditionally guaranteed authentic as described.
