Rare pair of antique Chinese 'Gofun' Ichimatsu opera dolls. Circa 1900 On offer is this rare pair of early Chinese 'Opera' gofun/Ichimatsu dolls as seen in the photos.Both dolls have been loved and there and they are slightly worn and faded but the only damage that I can see is to the lady's nose as you can see in the photos. Their clothing is also faded on the front although the colour is stronger on the back and the embroidered detail is exquisite and the composition hats are very unusual and interesting. Both dolls are approximately 12" tall.I have put up lots of photos including close ups of the hands, feet and heads so that you can assess the condition of the dolls for yourselves and please ask any questions relating to condition of the dolls and clothing before bidding.
