PAIR Antique French Carved Oak BARLEY TWIST Foot Stools Renaissance Revival, Exquisite Carved details!! Direct from France, this listing is for a PAIR of outstanding antique French oak footstools. Rarely do I find a carved barley twist footstool that is such an absolute statement piece, NOT TO MENTION TWO OF THEM, so I am listing them as a pair because the impact of BOTH is too much to pass up!!! Decorators use these beauties as accent pieces anyw in your home or officeâe¦âe¦ fireside, or with a favorite reading chair AND NOW they are often found on a table as accent pieces among treasured Staffordshire or majolica. The stools have fabulous barley twist stretchers and turned bobbin legsâe¦âe¦âe¦..and beautiful hand carved seats âe¦.the beveled edges are also hand carved, leaving not a single area of these beautiful stools unadorned!! They have a dark, rich finish, with wonderful oak grain and a lovely aged patina. Measurements: PETITE SIZE , Appx. 7 ½âeH x 11 ½âe x 8âe (one is slightly taller than the other). Condition: The stools are in good condition for their age, sturdy and strong with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections (SEE PHOTOS). Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character. Shipping : Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $25.00. (lower 48 states only). All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, resulting in very little shipping damage in the past, but sometimes creating slightly higher shipping costs on my antiques versus other sellers.
