A pair of terrific antique Italian solid silver drop earrings; beautifully made, and set with four matching pale coloured lava cameos - each depicting a classical goddess and with flowers to the lower drops. A hugely pretty pair of typically Victorian cameo earrings in astounding original condition! CONDITION : All original and very good. Appear to have recently been cleaned. Slight signs of wear, no damage. Wires possibly old replacements. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1880. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : Total drop 68 x 14 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter. WEIGHT : Approx. 8.6 grams together. our other auctions. Like our items?
