DESCRIPTION MLN 9803 / Pair Antique Tiger Oak Nightstands ~ 's a handsome pair of handmade tiger oak nightstands dating from the '50s or so. They're heavily constructed of solid tiger oak with a trio of drawers parading down the front of each. Solid oak construction is always a grand thing, and it makes for a substantial piece of furniture. Solid oak pieces are also prone to plank joint separations, and one of these nightstands has had a minor joint separation, now filled and restored to good condition (shown 9th photo from top ~ that side goes next to the bed). Another little quirk of these handmade pieces is that, from a side view, the drawers extend just a bit from the body (last photo). If you love honest to goodness American made rustic furniture, if you love solid oak, these are handsome little nightstands, so much more than our photos show. These charming little cabinets will last for 100+ years, they're that well made.
