Here for sale is a rare vintage pair of 1960s/70s Arol Pottery of Norway "Viking Ship & Runic Symbols" round handled glazed candle holders,in a green and cream colourway.Stunning pieces,with deep sgraffito detailling of a Viking longboat and eight various runic symbols also (some cannot be seen in the photos) it is very tactile and beautifully made.It is in perfect,undamaged condition (looks unused) and has a height,to the top of the handle,of 5.5 cms,rim height of 5 cms,base rim diameter of 10.5 cms,rim diameter of 9.5 cms,body diameter of 11 cms,has a width,from rim to handle,of 14 cms,and is fully backstamped-please see photo # 4.
